    Half Moon manicure has always been one of my all time favourites. This time I decided to try out something new colour-wise: I combined saturated orange with metallic shimmer nail polish from Maybelline: Color Show by Colorama — 182 Solar Flare and different size blue and clear rhinestones to outline the edge of the ‘moon’.

  4. Blue and Green Ruffian Manicure

    Multicolour Magnetic Ruffian Nails

    This time I created a vibrant blue, green and lime Ruffian manicure (also known as reverse half-moon or reverse French). As a base for my nail design, I used metallic grey nail polish by W7. Although it may not be clearly seen in the pictures, the ‘smile’ at the beginning of each nail was made with the magnetic nail polish and a special magnet.

  6. Glitter Jelly Sandwich: First Tryout

    Glitter jelly sandwich

    Glitter Jelly Sandwich technique dulls the glitter to create a more subtle and delicate look. In other words, your manicure will be glossy and shiny, but not too sparkling.

    This is my first tryout of the glitter sandwich technique. I can’t say that this attempt was successful, but not a disaster either. Anyways, we always need something to start from. A good thing about this mani is that I managed to achieve the effect of depth, which means that some glitter sparkle more, and some glitter “sank” deeper into the nail. (more…)
