When you’re in a “sparkling” mood, and want something more interesting than just glitter all over your nails, try creating glitter gradients. They are so easy to do! You just need ordinary opaque nail polish and your favourite glitter nail polish.

Here I used Rimmel: I Love Lasting Finish — 080 Black Cab as a base of the gradient and Beauty UK: Glam Nails — Blue Glitter No.71.

First, with a small amount of glitter on the nail polish brush lightly paint one third of the top part of the nail. Then, continue the gradient with some more glitter on the top two thirds of the nail. And finally, to give the look some more weight, paint some chunkier glitter, I used Beauty UK: Glam Nails — Holographic Glitter No.73 on the entire surface of the nail.
