  1. Blue and Green Ruffian Manicure

    Multicolour Magnetic Ruffian Nails

This time I created a vibrant blue, green and lime Ruffian manicure (also known as reverse half-moon or reverse French). As a base for my nail design, I used metallic grey nail polish by W7. Although it may not be clearly seen in the pictures, the ‘smile’ at the beginning of each nail was made with the magnetic nail polish and a special magnet.

  2. Royal French Manicure with Gold Glitter and Rhinestones

    White orange half French nails

Recently I have noticed the increasing popularity of the half French manicure. So here I have created a trendy half French mani (and classic French on some nails). The design is spiced up with a thin line of fine gold glitter, 2mm green and yellow rhinestones, butterfly metal flakes and small gold beads.

  3. Black and White French Manicure

    Black and white French manicure

There are a lot of examples on the Internet of the classic white tip French manicure with a line of black underneath. However I’ve never seen the reversed version of this manicure. This is why I decided to fill in this gap by creating the black tip French manicure with a small white line underneath.

  4. Pink Glitter and White French Tips

    Glitter French gradient nails

To create his glamorous gradient from pale pink glitter to white, I used Beauty UK: Glam Nails — Pink Glitter No.74 as a glittery base for my manicure (I applied two coats). Then, using Madeline Poole’s technique I applied white nail varnish to my tips. It doesn’t really matter what nail polish to use, as soon as it’s pure white and opaque. But here I used W7 — 34 White.

  5. Pastel Polka Dot Manicure

Pink orange yellow polka dot manicure

The whole point of this manicure is careful selection of different shades of nail polishes. Choose the pastel shade as a base, and then apply dots with the dotting tool on the top with more saturated shade of the same colour.

  6. Blue Glitter Manicure with Gold Rhinestones

    Blue glitter polish square studs

This manicure turned out cool and unusual. I never did anything like this before. Manicure summary: orange rhinestones, tiny gold beads and gold square studs over deep blue glitter that was applied to natural nails.

  7. Black Crackle on Green French Tips

Craquelure black green french nail art

I made this mani because I wanted to try out my new nail polishes: Color Club — Twiggie, Color Club — Wild Cactus and W7 — Earthquake Black. Since my gradient from pale to emerald green came out not very good, I had to cover it with black crackle nail polish by W7. Crackles came out even and fine, that I liked a lot.

  8. Gold and Black Ruffian Manicure

    Ruffian backwards moon nail art

Happy birthday to me, I just turned 21! Thus I had a very pretty black and gold dress for my birthday party. Of course, I couldn’t leave my nails without the suitable manicure. That’s why I came up with the reverse half-moon, also known as the Ruffian manicure. (more…)

  9. Classic French Manicure with Glitter

    French manicure with violet glitter

This week my manicure is classic: white tip french with some glitter that divides the nail and its tip and stamping on the ring fingers. Classic and at the same time not too boring. (more…)

  10. Geometric Green and Pink Design

Geometric nail design with black rhinestones

One of my favourite things about the Web is that this is the place where the inspiration comes from. Every time I surf the Internet, I discover more and more talented nail bloggers, but Madeline Poole is one of my favourite ones at all times. She specializes in simple shapes, geometric designs and gradients. Thus, today’s nail design was inspired by one of her most famous manicures. (more…)
