  2. Blue and Green Ruffian Manicure

    Multicolour Magnetic Ruffian Nails

    This time I created a vibrant blue, green and lime Ruffian manicure (also known as reverse half-moon or reverse French). As a base for my nail design, I used metallic grey nail polish by W7. Although it may not be clearly seen in the pictures, the ‘smile’ at the beginning of each nail was made with the magnetic nail polish and a special magnet.

    Normally you won’t see me with short nails. Because I broke one, I had to cut them all. So I’m using the opportunity to do nail designs, that I wouldn’t try on long nails. Namely, I’m talking about stamping on the entire surface of the nail. Usually, either the design on the image plate is too small, or the stamper isn’t big enough to cover my nails.   5. Fifty Shades of Grey Manicure

    I do not have five different shades of grey nail polish. These shades were achieved by mixing grey nail polish with black and white polishes. Only the middle finger is painted with original Rimmel: 60 Seconds — 805 Grey Matter. The most boring part about making gradients is that you’ll need to apply two coats, which means that you’ll have to mix polishes two times for each shade. (more…)
