Half Moon Lime and Brown Manicure

For this extremely unusual version of the half-moon manicure (also known as ‘reversed french mani’) I applied two coats of lime nail polish Barbara Daly — Zest. Then I carefully painted two coats of pastel brown lacquer by OPI — NL S46 Java Mauve-A, leaving the half-moons unpainted. It’s absolutely up to you which method do you prefer to achieve this effect. Since I find stickers kind of unreliable, I used a thin nail art brush to outline my half-moon curves, and then with an ordinary nail polish brush I painted my nails upwards from the outlines.
To diversify my nail design, I made two fingers stand out by swapping the colours of the moon and the background.
