There are a lot of examples on the Internet of the classic white tip French manicure with a line of black underneath. However I’ve never seen the reversed version of this manicure. This is why I decided to fill in this gap by creating the black tip French manicure with a small white line underneath.

How I made this

1. To begin with, I applied a base coat and one coat of sheer beige nail polish. I used Revlon — 017 Scene Stealer.
2. Then, I painted my tips white with two coats of white nail polish.
3. When the nail polish is completely dry, It’s time to draw another French tip line using black varnish. I had to apply another two coats to achieve an opaque result.
4. And finally, to smooth and protect the result I applied three coats of clear top coat.
